Traditional Japanese food Vol.2 – Tonkatsu

Tonkatsu is a deep-fried pork cutlet rolled in breadcrumbs.
Tonkatsu comes in many different variations.
The version with Kurobuta (Black Pork) is the best of them.
 
Another version of Tonkatsu is, Kushi-Katsu.
It is basically bite sized pieces of Tonkatsu on Skewers.

  1. I only eat meat every once in a while, but tonkatsu is one of my favorite things to eat in Japan 🙂
