We love the city of lights and we’re so sad to leave this beautiful place.
We had our fair share of ups and downs in Paris but over time, we’ve grown quite affectionate on our love affair with Paris.
The city of lights soon became known to us as the city of love and we’re already missing this place.
However, we’re sure we’ll be back and that’s a promise we’ll be sure to keep!
Our last night in Paris was a sad one…
We went down and took a nice stroll around our neighborhood.
It was dinner time and we were hungry (as usual)!!
Looked for a nice place to have dinner…
Eventually decided on having French cuisine, since we’re in France…right?
French cuisine will never be complete without…French fries?? 😉
And…after all, we’re gonna miss this place so much.
What a way to bid our farewells.
Back to dinner!
So…What are we gonna order?
And then, something on the menu caught my eye!
The star on the menu was Foie Gras!
In an instant, the choice was obvious on what we’ll have for dinner!
For those wondering what Foie Gras is, look no further!
 ———————————————————————————————————-

Foie Gras

Foie Gras is the liver of a duck or goose that has been enlarged through a special feeding technique and then served in pâtés, terrines or as a hot entree and/or main dish sometimes.
The Foir Gras was a treat for the senses – absolutely delicious
Foie gras is considered a luxury or delicacy item, and is extremely fatty, with a rich flavor and smooth texture. Foie gras melts easily, so while it is often prepared with high heat, such as pan-seared, cooking it this way can be tricky.
Of the two types of Foie Gras, goose Foie Gras (foie gras d’oie) is considered the more refined, with a milder flavor.
Duck Foie Gras (foie gras de canard) can have a somewhat more gamy flavor, though it is slightly less fatty and thus better suited for high-heat cooking.
The grade of Olive oil used for the salad was of the best quality, it was absolutely delicious!
Without a doubt, the food was delicious!
5/5 stars for the Foie Gras!!
We ordered so much for dinner and yet, we managed to savor every last bit of it!
In fact…the taste still lingers in my mind!
Walked around town a little more, went to grab a drink or two soon after.
Before we knew it, it was getting really dark and really late, too!
After a short while, we left and took a bus home.
We have to get to sleep soon as we’re gonna have to wake up a little early tomorrow.
Passed the Arc de Triomphe on the way back and before long, we’re back at the hotel!
Tomorrow, we’ll be heading for London!!
London is the capital city of England and also, the United Kingdom.

Make way, we’ve got a Eurostar to catch!!

  1. I’m glad that you had a great time in paris. It’s takes me 2/3 hours with a Thalys train to be there, but ironically I’ve never been to paris haha! I’m wondering what the difference is between Paris and Amsterdam, because I live nearby Amsterdam. ^^
