Disneyland Paris® – The Queue

Hello everyone!!
Good evening from Marne-la-Vallée!
We made our way to Disneyland Paris today!
We were in need of a change in mood and scenery..
Quite possible that we might have gotten a minor case of winter blues!
(Also possible, is the reason that this is an excuse to simply have some fun! =X)
After so many Castles, Sights & Monuments, Old Towns and Town Squares…we were looking for something colorful, something cheerful & happy. Disneyland Paris proved the most ideal, fitting the description perfectly to a T!
We cruised the Seine River previously…
To see where we last left off, click the link here!
Waiting for this seemed like a long time and boy, was it worth the wait!!
We’re big Disney fans and we planned this in our itinerary long ago…
But!!! We forgot to purchase our tickets and ended up having to brave a very verrrrry long queue!
It was really cold day and everyone was freezing!!
Not that it mattered to most, but by chalking it up to experience, it was something really memorable!
(Okay, maybe it did matter to some after all..)
I have so many pictures here that it’s simply impossible to blog about it in a single post, so I’ll be doing the next best thing possible, and that’s…
…Simply splitting them up from an endless fun in five magical lands, into seven different posts – land by land, for your ultimate coverage on Disneyland Paris!!
Words of Wisdom
“To all who come to this happy place, welcome. Once upon a time… A master storyteller, Walt Disney, inspired by Europe’s best loved tales, used his own special gifts to share them with the world. He envisioned a Magic Kingdom where these stories would come to life, and called it Disneyland. Now his dream returns to the lands that inspired it. Euro Disneyland is dedicated to the young, and the young at heart… with a hope that it will be a source of joy and inspiration for all the world.” –
Michael D. Eisner, April 12, 1992
Disneyland Paris
In a Magical Kingdom not so far away – somewhere between a place where you wish upon a star and dreams come true – Disney heroes and heroines live in fairy tales that are happily, never ending!
Disneyland Paris is a theme park which is a part of Disneyland Resort Paris.
Owned by Euro Disney S.C.A., the resort is the second Disney park to open outside the United States, following Tokyo Disney Resort in Japan, and the first to be owned and operated by Disney through Euro Disney S.C.A..
It is also one of two theme parks in the complex  with the other being: Walt Disney Studios Park.
For Tokyo Disneyland, click the link below!
Then, there’s Tokyo Disneysea too!
Tokyo Disneysea is uniquely exclusive to Japan , it’s counterpart in France is quite likely, the Walt Disney Studios Park.

Situated just by the outskirts of Paris, in Marne-la-Vallée, FranceDisneyland Paris alone, occupies 566,560 m² or 140 acres and it is the largest Disney park that’s based on the original in California.
The park officially opened as Euro Disneyland on April 12, 1992, but eventually became Disneyland Paris, as it’s known presently.
Disneyland Paris receives around twelve million visitors a year which makes it the most visited place in Europe, beating out Buckingham Palace and the Eiffel Tower!
Disneyland Paris has many different attractions for visitors to experience.
In this world renown theme park, the top five attractions of all time are – It’s a Small World, Space Mountain: Mission 2, Big Thunder Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Buzz Lightyear’s Laser Blast.
Each of the attractions is located in their own corresponding “Lands” or differently themed sections of the park.
These are just only five of the many attractions that Disneyland Paris offers. The two parks combined together with the hotel resorts, take up a space totaling about a whopping 4,800 acres!
On top of all the wonderful attractions and characters, there are lots of spectacular family parades and shows to enjoy all year round.
Coming next up will be: Main Street, U.S.A!!
