Earlier this year, we boarded a Cruise ship that was travelling around Asia. It was summer and we were planning for a tropical getaway. The Cruise sounded like a fantastic choice and we decided on it!
These were some of the pictures taken. There are more to come and i’ll be posting them up in another entry, shortly. I hope you enjoy them!
One of the reasons I love cruising is because it allows you to get to your destination comfortably. Although it might be considerably slower than taking a flight, Crusing makes the journey MUCH more pleasant and enjoyable.
Say good bye to 10 hour flights with almost no leg room.
Think of the Cruise ship as a…fancy floating hotel on high seas. Getting from point A to point B has never been so comfortable as the ‘floating hotel’ does the travelling for you instead!
On top of getting to travel to many different parts of the world, the Cruise ship has MANY entertainment/leisure and dining options too! Eat, drink and be merry with more then 10 styles of restaurants!
You don’t even have to get down the ship to have fun!
You’ll be spoilt for choice!~
This is the Video Arcade! As you can see, we’ve loads of pictures taken in it.
Yup, you’ve guessed it! It’s our favorite area in the ship!
There’s also an indoor Spa & Fitness center with jet current exercise pools!
The two-story cabaret theater in the picture here, houses international performances and special guest artistes when sailing.
There’s a variety of acts in many forms such as; an orchestra that ranges from fusion ballet, acrobatics performances to a contortionist dance and also, a live circus act that’s best described as dramatic mix of circus arts and street entertainment, based on Cirque du soleil!
Oh, did I forget to mention the Topless show too…? 😉
I love the Italian-Themed decor of the ship. The ship is very pretty and it makes you feel like you’re in some Fantasy place and NOT on a boat!
But where the ship really shines is when night falls. Dimmed moody lighting’s flow out into the halls, beautiful stained glass covers the ceiling and sculptures/statues line the stairways. Last but not least, timeless art pieces adorn the walls and among them is a unique one which cost a STAGGERING £3.9m(illion)!!
I personally feel that the decor of the ship screams “Romantic!” and this would make a perfect getaway especially if you’re onboard with your spouse, perfect for a Romantic getaway, or even honeymoon maybe!
There’s even a library which houses a wide variety of books which you can loan.
Both of us, doin’ our thing! 😉
This is the Kids Playpool and it’s bound to keep your kids smiling for hours.
To the right is an exciting water slide that twist and turns with a transparent underbelly that goes over the edge of the boat, before finally bringing you back to the bottom of the pool – with a SPLASH!
